Varazdin County invites you to the international conference: „Modern IT Technologies and Applications in Tourism“

The event will take place on Thursday, September 15, 2022, starting at 10:00 a.m. at Hotel Turist, Aleja kralja Zvonimira 1, 42000, Varaždin, Croatia.

The international conference will be organized in order to promote stronger inclusion of information and technology (IT) in the tourism offer, especially when it comes to valorization of natural and cultural heritage. As well, the conference will be the event for presenting the visual identity of created tourism attraction – application based on augmented reality and gamification and it will, at the same time, familiarize the participants how they can extend their offer by joining their natural and cultural heritage into the application.

International conference is free for all participants, and registrations are possible until September 13 via the Google form: https://forms.gle/NrXmpcaFd531BmZ99

The official languages of the conference will be English, Hungarian and Croatian, with translation provided. The entire program of the international conference can be downloaded in the attachment.

The partners from Croatia are Varaždin County as the leading partner and the Varaždin County Tourist Board, while the Hungarian partners are the Municipality of Csurgó and the University of Pannon, Nagykanizsa campus. The total value of the project is € 1,245,215.36, of which the EU co-finances 1,058,433.04 Euros (85%).
