You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for short, is a project from the Interreg V-A Hungary-Croatia Cooperation Program 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The project started on 1.1.2021. and lasts until 31.12.2022. The partners from Croatia are Varaždin County as the leading partner and the Varaždin County Tourist Board, while the Hungarian partners are the Municipality of Csurgó and the University of Pannon, Nagykanizsa campus. The total value of the project is € 1,245,215.36, of which EU co-financing is € 1,058,433.04, national co-financing (Hungarian partners) € 70,386.70, and partners' own funds are € 116,395.62.

The aim of this project is to attract tourists in cross-border areas between Hungary and Croatia by creating new facilities to find local tourist attractions using advanced technologies. The project will establish new and attractive digital content available through mobile applications, and will also establish two attractive visitor centers, one in Csurgó in Hungary, the other in Varaždin in Croatia. With the help of state-of-the-art technology, such as specialized projectors, holograms, sound systems and virtual reality creation, the heritage of the project area will be presented in an unusual, educational and primarily interesting and attractive way.

Tourism service providers and heritage managers / owners will gain knowledge related to valorisation based on advanced technologies. In addition, the project area will be integrated into one recognizable brand that will connect heritage with the market, which will ultimately result in better social and economic development.
