Within the project Active Tourism meets Advanced Technology in Cross-Border Area, a database of owners and managers of cultural and natural heritage in the project area of ​​the project has been created. The database enables filtering as well as graphical display of heritage data in a simple way.

This database brought together information on owners / managers, as well as basic information on natural and cultural heritage in the project area with the aim of compatibility and harmonization of all available information in one place. The database covers the area of ​​project implementation, ie: Varaždin County in the Republic of Croatia and the Municipalities of Csurgó and Nagykanizse in Hungary.

Thus, the project partners were given a tool to compare natural and cultural heritage and decide which of them has the greatest potential for valorization. In addition, the database will serve as one of the main inputs for decision makers, not only when it comes to valorization within this project, but also when they have to decide on the necessary investments and additional activities related to tourism or culture outside this project.
