The meeting was held in the Small Hall of the Varaždin County Palace organized by the Varaždin County Tourit Board, and was attended by representatives of partners: Varaždin County, Varaždin County Tourist Board, Municipality of Csurgó and University of Pannonia, Nagykanizsa campus. Mayor of Csurgó, Mr. János Füstös and Mrs. Zrinka Šajn from the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg V-A Hungary-Croatia Cooperation Program joined the meeting.
The partners have agreed and planned to implement many future activities, so in mid-June international conference on tourism and information technology will be held, in August the Medieval Festival in Csurgó, while in early September, two training cycles, one for key stakeholders from the tourism sector, and one for owners / managers of cultural and natural heritage in the project area, will begin.
The finalization of the tourist application developed by University of Pannonia is also expected in August, and work on the construction of visitor centers in Varaždin and Csurg will begin soon.
The partners will meet again next month in Csurgó, Hungary.
