Drawing competition " The Heritage of the Mura-Drava Region through the eyes of children"

Municipality of Csurgó, in the framework of the project HUHR/1901/2.1.2/0074 "Active Tourism meets Advanced Technology in Cross-Border Area", has announced a drawing competition for primary school students entitled "The Heritage of the Mura-Drava Region through the eyes of children" in three categories: primary school lower grades 1-2, primary school lower grades 3-4, and primary school upper grades 5-8.

The aim of the competition was to promote the cultural and natural heritage of the Mura-Drava region and to increase the popularity of the tourism and digital offers of the project among different age groups. Due to the high interest, the deadline for submissions was extended to mid-December 2022, to allow the submission of entries to the Municipality. 

In total, 105 applications were received in the three categories. The entries were judged by a 3-member professional jury, awarding the top three winners in each category, as well as a special winner in each category.

The ceremony took place on 20 January 2023, on the occasion of the Day of Hungarian Culture, at the Csokonai Vitéz Mihály Reformed Secondary School. The submitted works were exhibited in the institution.
