The Municipality of Csurgó successfully completed a public procurement in the framework of the project at the end of 2022, and the contract was signed with the winning contractor. After the delivery of the worksite, the winning contractor started the investment in December 2022, which includes the construction of an interactive tunnel next to the Historical Park.

The tunnel will offer visitors several attractions that will complement the existing services provided by the Historical Park. One of these interactive elements will be a photobox, which will allow visitors to virtually "dress up" in different period costumes and then send the resulting image to their email address via a mailing system.

Another interactive element is a touchscreen monitor where visitors can play android games created by a subcontractor. The third element will be a 12 m long info-graphic showing the historical periods of Csurgó Castle with the help of an audio guide.

The aim of the interactive tunnel is to increase the number of visitors to Csurgó and to provide an opportunity for active holidays.
