1st training cycle: Training cycle for tourism service providers in Project areas

Training cycle 1 is aimed at tourism service providers in the Project areas. It encompasses six courses. Included are an overview of current market trends and ensuing opportunities for innovation of tourism products and services, the role of modern technologies and their application both in the development of new tourism products and in digital marketing, followed by insights into storytelling and its application in tourism experience design, as well as practical suggestions for providing inclusive opportunities for guests with special needs. The Training cycle concludes with a ‘live’ workshop focusing on development of integrated tourism products.

The course consists of modules:

  • Market trends and innovation opportunities in tourism
  • Storytelling in tourism
  • Development of integrated tourism products
  • The role of advanced technologies and gamification in creating tourism experiences
  • Inclusive tourism offer
  • Digital marketing in promotion and sales of tourism products

2nd training cycle: Training cycle for owners and/or managers of natural and cultural resources in Project areas

Training cycle 2 is aimed at owners and/or managers of natural and cultural resources in the Projects areas. It encompassed six courses. Included are an overview of regional tourism development framework, a discussion of the role of destination branding in image building, the contribution of creative industries and spatial interpretation to visitor experiences, as well as practical suggestions for providing inclusive opportunities for guests with special needs. The Training cycle concludes with a ‘live’ workshop focusing on development of integrated tourism products.

The course consists of modules:

  • The Project area resource valorization, tourism development strategy and availability of financing
  • Creative industries in function of tourism development
  • Development of integrated tourism products*
  • Destination branding and positioning
  • Inclusive tourism offer
  • Contemporary spatial interpretation in tourism
